By accessing or using DF: Game Hosting services (the "Service"), operated by Desert Forge IT ("we," "us," or "our") at hosting.desertforgeit.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
DF: Game Hosting provides Minecraft server hosting services, including:
Services are hosted in Washington State, USA. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance at any time.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. Accounts are for individual use; you may not share account credentials or transfer accounts without our written permission.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at questions@desertforgeit.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.
Forge Credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are a service convenience feature only.
The Forge Credits system works as follows:
Advertisement viewing is voluntary. Free tier server activation may require either credit redemption or advertisement viewing as a condition of the service, in lieu of monetary payment.
Paid tier services are billed in advance for the selected term (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly). All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge you for the selected plan and any renewals.
We offer refunds under the following circumstances:
To request a refund, contact questions@desertforgeit.com within 7 days of the billing event.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing page in your control panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your server and data will be retained for 7 days after expiration before being permanently deleted.
You retain ownership of all game data (worlds, configurations, plugins) hosted on your server. We perform best-effort backups but do not guarantee data recovery in all circumstances. You are encouraged to maintain your own off-site backups of important world data.
Upon account termination or subscription expiration (after the 7-day grace period), all server data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
All content on the DF: Game Hosting website (excluding user-generated server content) — including the logo, design, and software — is owned by Desert Forge IT and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. DF: Game Hosting is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang AB or Microsoft Corporation.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DESERT FORGE IT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Washington State, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
